Haiti - Harmony Ministries

The Harmony Ministries story is best told from its founder's perspective. As you view the video below and listen to Pastor Luc describe the miraculous provisions of God through Harmony Ministries, you are invited to write yourselves into the narrative and get connected.

Easter 2021 marked the 40th anniversary of Harmony Ministries, a milestone worth celebrating in a big way. The ministry has grown from a single person with a promise to God and a vision, to 5 churches and schools serving thousands of Haitians over the years and currently.

Even while civil unrest and gang violence are at alarming levels, schools are in session and church services are being held; with both well attended.  Construction is underway of a new church and school in the coastal village of Leogane, replacing those destroyed by the earthquake ten years ago. Engineers and masons have learned a lot following the earthquake, and like the big church in Port-au-Prince, this one will be anti-seismic and hurricane resistant.

Last year when Pinnacle provided funding to build a couple of houses for deacons, PCOL (Pres Church of Lawrenceville) provided funding to build bathroom facilities at the church complex in Port-au-Prince. There’s a water tank on top of the bathroom building to provide for running water in sinks, and for flushing. The video shows the outside of the church, the parking area, clinic building, and bathrooms. There aren’t very many churches and/or bathrooms in Port-au-Prince that are wheelchair accessible!
