The Heart of Pinnacle: Celebrating our Dedicated Staff of 20 Years

We are joyfully celebrating three very special staff members who are marking 20 years at Pinnacle Presbyterian Preschool & Kindergarten. Back in 2005, when Kristine Lundquist, Juliet Mendon, and Diana Englund first joined our school, we had just taken a significant step forward by adding a third teacher to each classroom—strengthening our commitment to low student-to-teacher ratios and to nurturing our Reggio Emilia–inspired learning environment. Twenty years later, these incredible women are still with us, and they truly are the heartbeat of our school.

Kristine Lundquist has worn many hats at PPPK—classroom teacher for both 3-year-olds and Pre-K, Music Teacher, and Extended Day extraordinaire. Her creativity shines through beloved programs like Book Cooks and Books Come Alive, which are so popular that they fill up with a waitlist every session.

Juliet Mendon has shared her warmth and talents across many classrooms over the years, teaching both 3-year-olds and Pre-K students. She enriches our community, teaching children traditions such as Diwali and helping them discover mindfulness through meditation and yoga during Extended Day. Her calm presence and gentle reminders to pause, breathe, and be present have touched both children and staff alike.

Diana Englund began her journey as a part-time classroom teacher in 2005 and soon became our full-time Office Administrator. She is the welcoming face of PPPK—greeting families, giving tours, managing all of our bookkeeping, and keeping everything (and everyone!) running smoothly. Simply put, we would be lost without her.

Please join us in celebrating these remarkable women whose dedication, creativity, and love have shaped our community for two decades. They are the heart of PPPK.
