Andre House

Andre House, located in downtown Phoenix, assists individuals who are experiencing homelessness and poverty. The organization offers essential services to help meet the basic needs of those in the community:

  • Serves over 500 free meals every evening to ensure that guests do not go hungry.

  • Distributes clothing, blankets, and hygiene items to help people stay comfortable, clean, and healthy.

  • Offers showers and laundry services, providing guests with opportunities to maintain personal hygiene and dignity.

PPC has pledged to provide four volunteers three times each month, from 3:00-7:00 PM. The volunteer work is straightforward and fast-paced. Each afternoon begins with food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables, slicing fruit, and buttering bread. This is followed by a short team meeting and devotional, after which volunteers participate in cafeteria-style dinner service and then assist with cleanup.

Volunteers leave Andre House knowing that every meal served, every connection made, and every moment of hope provided is possible because of their contributions. If this meaningful and rewarding work interests you, follow the steps below to sign up!
