Making Connections Beyond Drop-off
Family Welcome Days were a great (and busy) kick-off to the new school year. You’ve made it through the first week of school, you’ve got this! The start of the year is full of potential to build community beyond dropping off at the school gate. Here are some great opportunities we shared during Family Welcome Days you may have missed.
Getting Involved
We offer a variety of Parent Committees that provide easy ways for families to connect and help out at the school. From the Garden Committee to Friends of Atelier, School Events to Room Parent, there is something for everyone.
Connecting With Families
Be sure to return your interest form for volunteering in the classroom. This is a great way for families to engage with the interests of the classroom and share their knowledge, skill, or hobbies.
The Supporting Parents Series
Our first topic this year is Raising Resilient Children: Instilling Grit for Real Life. Resiliency is critical for your child to build coping skills and confidence! This is a free event open to the community (please share!) and also provides parents a great opportunity to meet other families. RSVP in the school office or email kvasquez@pinnaclepres.org.
Spirit Wear
Have you ordered your class spirit wear yet? T-shirts and hoodies are available to purchase. The last day of the week will be your child’s Spirit Day (Thursday for Quail, Gecko, and Owl; Friday for Roadrunner, Tortoise, Javelina, and Coyote).
Mini Family Sessions
Here’s an easy way to get your holiday cards ready this year! We are offering mini family photo sessions through Making Memories Photography on October 13th & 14th. Time slots are starting to fill up - reserve your spot here.
