Kendall Wollenberg
Quail and Javelina Teacher
Hi, my name is Kendall Wollenberg. My family and I moved to sunny Arizona from a small beach town in Connecticut in 2000. I have always been a water baby and was a competitive swimmer through high school. My first and only job before being in a classroom setting was lifeguarding/teaching swim lessons. My sports background allowed me to begin coaching as well. That was when I realized how much I loved working with children! I switched departments to work full time in the preschool and began taking classes through PVCC for Early Childhood Education. I graduated from PVCC in the spring of 2021 and began teaching at Pinnacle Presbyterian in the fall of 2022. This will be my 10th year teaching and my 4th year at PPP.
Outside of my work in education, you can find me at concerts, plays, hiking, the gym, cuddling with my animals, or spending time at the beach with my husband, Stephen, and step-children MJ and Adriana. Newport is our home away from home, and we love to be out in nature! I grew up on Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings, so I also enjoy all things fantasy. I’m so thrilled to have the privilege to spend time with your incredible children in our beautiful space! It’s my goal to inspire and encourage them to think outside the box, cultivate meaningful relationships, and realize how capable, resilient, and magical they are.
