During Lent, we are invited to slow down, listen deeply, and rediscover what truly matters. Long before us, the Desert Fathers and Mothers retreated into the wilderness to do just that - to seek God in silence, simplicity, and prayer. Though they lived centuries ago, their insights into faith, humility, and inner peace continue to speak with striking relevance today.

Join us every Wednesday evening during Lent as we explore the spiritual wisdom of one Desert Father and one Desert Mother each week. Through brief readings, reflection, and conversation, we’ll consider how their voices can guide us through our own modern deserts - toward lives of greater compassion, patience, and trust in God. The class meets at 5 pm in the Chapel Library, followed by our Lenten Vespers service at 6 pm in the Chapel.
