Join us for Adventures with Mike and Kelly as we explore the beauty, history, and culture of Tucson, Arizona, on an unforgettable day trip filled with Southwest charm. Our adventure begins with a guided tour of the stunning Mission San Xavier del Bac, often called the “White Dove of the Desert.” This historic Spanish Catholic mission, founded in the late 1600s, is known for its breathtaking architecture, rich history, and beautiful desert surroundings. Guests will enjoy learning about the mission’s cultural significance while taking in its remarkable artwork and peaceful atmosphere.
Next, we’ll travel into historic downtown Tucson to visit the Tucson Museum of Art. Featuring exhibits that celebrate Western, Indigenous, and Latin American art, the museum offers a wonderful glimpse into the artistic heritage of the Southwest. Strolling through the historic district adds even more character to this unique experience.
After soaking in Tucson’s culture, we’ll stop for lunch at the legendary El Charro Café, famous for authentic Mexican cuisine and local flavor. Finally, we’ll end the day with a relaxing shuttle tour through the scenic beauty of Sabino Canyon, where desert landscapes and mountain views make for the perfect ending to our adventure.
