Full Circle: When Preschool Alumni Return as Parents
This year, we welcomed parents into our Cottontail toddler class who are also Pinnacle alumni! We chatted with Kate about her childhood memories of Pinnacle and her experience returning now with her own child.
What class were you a part of at PPP? What year?
I attended PPP from 1999 to 2001, I believe. I remember being part of the Roadrunner class with Ms. Pat and Ms. Trisha. It’s so special to now be back in the same place as a parent!
Do you remember a favorite part of your time at PPP?
I have such fond memories of the sense of community and how fun learning felt. I remember loving the creative activities. We still have greeting cards created from copies of some of my drawings. It always felt like a safe and happy place to be, which really stayed with me.
What is your favorite part of being back at Pinnacle with your child?
My favorite part is getting to experience something that meant so much to me as a child, now through my son’s eyes. It’s incredibly special to see him enjoy the same kind of environment - one that is nurturing, engaging, and full of joy. There’s something really meaningful about coming back to a place that helped shape you and trusting it with your own child. It’s amazing to see how PPP has continued to create such a strong, supportive environment for families over the years. Being back here feels both nostalgic and reassuring, and I’m so grateful that Casper gets to be part of it too.
