Jonathan Lang is a Phoenix native and has been active as a teacher and performer here for nearly two decades. 2023 marks his fourth year at the piano with Orpheus Male Chorus of Phoenix, the longest continuously performing choral organization in Arizona, currently in its 95th season. Holding his Bachelor's in Music Theory and a certificate in the Classics from Arizona State University, he has taught Music and Latin in the classroom and served as an accompanist and music director for a number of congregations and community groups across the valley. While at ASU, he became involved in numerous ensembles including Marimba Maderas de Comitán and the "Children of the Mud Volcano" Gamelan, with which he still occasionally performs. He also founded Priority Male, the university's first all-male a cappella ensemble. Jon currently maintains a private piano studio from home and regularly composes arrangements and original music for the groups he works with. In 2023 Jon joined the music staff of Pinnacle Presbyterian Church as the Accompanist and Choir Assistant.
