As the year-end approaches we would like to encourage you to consider making a donation to one or more of the organizations that we have partnered with concerning homelessness in Maricopa County.

On Sunday, December 4, Pinnacle will receive a special offering during the morning worship services to aid the homeless and homebound. Donations may also be dropped off or mailed to the church office no later than Monday, December 12, 2016. Checks must be payable for each organization to which you wish to direct your tax credit.

You could do a lot of good for a lot of people and it wouldn't cost you a dime. The State of Arizona offers a tax credit to individuals who make contributions to specific organizations who provide direct services to the working poor.

The maximum amount of this credit is $400 for single taxpayers or heads of household. For married taxpayers, the maximum credit is $800. And you must itemize deductions on your Arizona return.

Below is a link to the State of Arizona's Department of Revenue web site.

Below is list of the organizations our Pinnacle Promise Homelessness Initiative currently partners with and who also qualify for the Working Poor Tax Credit. We also recognize there are other organizations our church supports who also qualify for the tax credit, such as Shoebox Ministries and Habitat for Humanity. We encourage our members and friends to give to those organizations that express their own heart for Christ's mission.
