Diana L. Brown is a certified Conscious Discipline® instructor.  Conscious Discipline® is a longtime leader in integrating classroom management and social-emotional learning.  Designed by Dr. Becky Baily, this program utilizes everyday events rather than an external curriculum, and addresses the adult's emotional intelligence as well as the child's.

Diana L. Brown holds a B.A. from Arizona State University and an M.A. from Northern Arizona University. Diana also holds certification from Jensen Learning Corporation in Brain Based Learning. Diana provides workshops and consultation for educators, caregivers and parents. With two teenage daughters and 24 years of classroom experience, Diana shares Conscious Discipline® with engaging stories and humorous observations throughout Arizona and the Southwest.


Mary Ann Biermeier M.Ed. is Managing Director of the INSPIRE Early Childhood Leadership Series providing educator workshops and online courses in the Reggio Emilia approach.

Mary Ann brings her passion for technology and teaching with over 16 years as an early childhood educator at Pinnacle and 20 years in software design and development. She holds a Masters with distinction in Early Childhood Education from Northern Arizona University and a B.A. from the University of Minnesota. Mary Ann is an Academic Associate with Arizona State University, Mary Lou Fulton Teachers College, Division of Educational Leadership and Innovation providing online coursework for master degree candidates in early childhood education.

Mary Ann serves as a member of the Governing Board for Valley of the Sun AEYC. She is past board chair of Communities in Schools of Arizona and All-Star Kids Tutoring supporting children at risk our community.
