Ensuring the long-term financial interests of the church.
Pinnacle Presbyterian Church...
Is Here to Stay
Celebrating over 11 years of successful ministry to North Scottsdale, Pinnacle Presbyterian Church has grown from a handful of people to over 1,300 members. It is a force in the community as it provides worship, education and service. It is located on 20 acres and provides facilities for numerous programs in mission, music and family support.
Sees a Need
Current church visionaries believe that now is the time to create an entity to ensure and safeguard the longterm financial interests of this magnificent church. To meet this need, the Pinnacle Presbyterian Church Foundation has been created. It is the first step in developing a vigorous Planned Giving Program.
Structures a Foundation
The Foundation is a charitable 501(c)(3) tax exempt Arizona corporation governed by By–Laws, a Trust Agreement between the Foundation of the Church and an Investment Policy. A board of trustees consists of church members and is elected by the congregation to oversee the Foundation. The trustees are responsible for the investment and management of gifts given to the Foundation.
| Trustees | |

| Stephen Horrell, secretary | Susie Brousseau, treasurer |
| John Chapman | Peter Glanville |

| Dr. Wesley Avram, ex-officio | |
Sets a Foundation
The Foundation seeks gifts and bequests while educating members about the need to safeguard the longterm financial interests of the church. The Foundation will strengthen the congregation and its mission by developing gifts and managing funds on their behalf.
Develops a Mission Plan
Through the Foundation members can care for the needs of the Church by making bequests and gifts that will provide a permanent endowment. The Foundation will provide for the sound investment of contributed assets. Full financial disclosure will always be available.
Finds Good Management
Funds donated to the Foundation will be invested by a professional, independent investment manager who is selected by the trustees. Investments will follow the investment policy adopted by the trustees.
Fills a Need
It’s a wonderful way to put donors’ faith into action. It will enable participants to realize their visions for the future.
Creates a Planned–Giving Trust
The Foundation has many products and choices available to donors: charitable gift annuities, property, charitable trusts and pooled income funds. Gifts may be designated within the guidelines of the Foundation. The goal of the Foundation is to retain the corpus invested and only make distributions to the Church for its needs from the earnings of these investments. Over time, these earnings should be sizeable.
Lets People Put Faith into Action
By creating a permanent endowment, Pinnacle Presbyterian Church Foundation truly represents a generous heart and commitment to stewardship. A bequest allows church members to create a timeless legacy, making a final testament to their faith and values.
Helps Donors Get Started
The Rev. Fran Park is available to answer any questions and help donors choose the way to benefit them as well as the church. He may be reached at 480.585.9448 ext. 208.
Creating a Legacy
Charitable giving through an estate or gift is a perfect way to leave one’s mark on the Church or selected mission programs. A bequest allows church members to create a timeless legacy and make a final testimony to their faith and values.
Foundation Benefits Everyone
The Pinnacle Presbyterian Church Foundation explores ways in which its efforts can benefit not only the beneficiaries of gifts, but also the donors who establish those gifts
