There are several ways Grief Support is offered at PPC: When a loved one dies, please contact the church office to make sure a pastor knows. The pastors meet with families and individuals during a time of loss in many ways (i.e., planning memorial services, listening, prayer, memorial garden, and more). The clergy provide grief materials during the first year following a death. Two times a year grief counselor, Fran Wise, offers support groups for individuals and families that have lost a loved one. Twice a year the clergy offer Wholeness and Healing Services in the Chapel as a time of reflection and hope. Once a year a service of remembrance is held in the Memorial Garden of the church.

The pastoral staff at Pinnacle Presbyterian Church makes themselves available to talk to members and friends of the church about various life situations. The pastors also see their role as ones who can refer people to counselors in the local Scottsdale area if further help and support is needed.
