Fat Sunday and Ash Wednesday

Following the 10 a.m. worship service on Feb. 14, PPC celebrated Fat Sunday —Ęthe last Sunday before the beginning of Lent — in the fashion of New Orleans: with Mardi Gras decorations, beads, king cake and fellowship.

Then on Feb. 17, PPC held an Ash Wednesday service to mark the start of Lent, the season in the church calendar leading up to Easter.
