St. Olaf Summer Choir Camp

From July 21–25, 10 Pinnacle Presbyterian youth and seven adult chaperones attended the Summer Choir Camp at St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minn.

Under the direction of Elizabeth Shepley and Chris Aspaas, the participants were given the opportunity to sing with choristers from around the country, to continue to develop their talents as singers by exploring new techniques and styles, and to perform in the acoustically famous Boe Memorial Chapel.

The trip included a bonus visit to the Mall of America where some of the group shopped till they dropped and the rest just dropped... from a roller coaster plunge. They were also lucky enough to celebrate a birthday with Pinnacle Music Director Brent Hylton and explore downtown Northfield after a night of swimming and pizza.
