Take Your Mama to Mexico Trip

More than 40 Pinnacle families — 154 people — gathered to celebrate Mother’s Day weekend, May 10-13, in Puerto Penasco, Mexico. For four days, families played together on the beach, in the ocean and in the pools. A giant potluck dinner on Saturday night featured grilled burgers and hot dogs. On Sunday morning, at right, everyone gathered on the beach for a worship service where two children and two adults were baptized. The weekend was a wonderful opportunity for a diversity of church families to meet each other and deepen friendships. It was also a special trip because of its intergenerational make up. In the midst of sand castles, banana boats, football games, kite flying, walks on the beach, and much more, our church community was strengthened!
